Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.” – C.S. Lewis

Phoebe feels she is privileged to be a psychologist able to assist her clients crossing their personal “monkey bars” and see them moving forward. She has a warm, professional manner and is passionate about helping others, with an understanding of Christian values if needed.

She enjoys working with children, adults and families, empathising with clients’ pain and other difficulties. She has a willingness and openness to learn more about clients’ values and beliefs, and uses an integrated approach to therapy as part of a client-centred framework. Her goal is to assist her clients to understand their life experience and behaviours, achieve their goals, and develop new insights and perspectives along the way.

Trauma Counselling for Children

Phoebe has a special interest in working with primary school age children to overcome difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism, phobia, stress, adjustment issues, anger, school refusal, sleeping difficulties, grief and low self-esteem.
